Certified German Translation
Certified and notarized German translation services for immigration (INS or USCIS) can be provided at a very affordable rate. Certified translations are usually needed for official documents. Examples of such documents are: Birth certificate, marriage certificate, divorce certificate, death certificate, background check, police report, vaccination records, diplomas, high school transcripts, college transcripts, and professional certificates like a pharmacy technician license, registered nurse license, or architect license. If you are submitting your document to any board (like medical board or board of nursing), then we recommend getting the translation both certified and notarized. Our office can help with both of these services.

There are also documents for which a certified and notarized translation is not required. Usually, if a document is not being used for official purposes, then just a regular translation will suffice. Examples include books, contracts, technical manuals, employee manuals, movie scripts, medical records, and websites.

A little background information about the German language:

The earliest records that we have today in German were written in about A.D. 750. In this period, there was no official language, and only the local dialects were being written. The history of the language before that time is a matter of reconstruction by making inferences from different documents and studying similar languages that descended from the same source as the German language. Linguists are not sure whether the peoples who first spoke German lived near the Baltic or the Caspian Sea. From Indo-European developed Primitive Germanic, a language which is also almost undocumented. Later a more uniform language came from the original language after the various chancelleries of the Holy Roman Empire began.
